David Ryan Harris at Hotel Cafe: Review

Wow, great show!  DRH performed a phenomenal non-premeditated acoustic set that did not leave you wanting.
Well, maybe wanting something special from your mate when you get home, or in the car if you just couldn't wait.

The DRH impromptu set list consisted of the following:

    If I had a Dime
    Summer's Grace
    For You
Boy meets Girl, Saves the World / Superman
   Can We Get Down
    Pretty Girl
    Good Thing
    Used to This
Turn Around - with Angel Taylor

there were a couple others I will post when they come back to me - a little faded here at 2am.  The smooth melodies, the harmonies from his Martin and Gibson guitars, and the sultry lyrics move the heart and soak the mind for a profound experience that stirs desire and gives birth to inspiration.  It soothes the soul.

It was great to meet Tiff who so graciously and diligently manages the grassroots street team and the myspace pages.  As well as the guru of live recording, Debbie O.  Gari Askew, who is a genius with a camera was also on hand to document the evening visually.  And of course I took a few photos of my own.  I will share just these two exclusives with you as a special treat for stopping by.

See you at the Temple Bar . . . until next time . . .
