Stone Temple Pilots Rock Houdini's House . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Los Angeles, CA - Stone Temple Pilots are back and performed a great teaser set at Houdini's Estate nestled in the Hollywood Hills.  The setting was very burlesque with  a sword-swallower, cirque de soleil style performers, and contortionists. Over all it was a great way to kick off their reunion and new tour.  The booze poured freely (literally, as it was free), popcorn was popped, and hot dogs provided by Pinks were also available.   It was a perfect illustration of the circus Hollywood really is.  Scott Weiland and Company were great despite the show being a little short.  In addition, a few lucky fans were able to take part in a meet and greet following the set.

The set list was as follows:

         Big Empty
         Plush
         Vasoline
         Lady Picture
         Big Bang
         Interstate Love Song
         Trippin

STP will kick off the tour in Columbus, Ohio in May at the Rock on the Range festival.  Stone Temple Pilots consist of Scott Weiland (vocals), Dean DeLeo (guitar), Rob DeLeo (bass), and Eric Kretz (drums).  Despite the drama with the recently departed Velvet Revolver, Scott is in a great place and looks forward to a very successful tour.  STP is Back!
