Never heard of Glastonbury?  Think of Woodstock in England, and you get the idea.  Glastonbury Festival will take place on June 27th - 29th.  The line up is quite extensive and the headliners will be playing on the main stages.  There is the Acoustic Tent, Dance Village, Jazz World Stage, John Peel Stage, The Other Stage, and the Pyramid Stage.  The Pyramid Stage: Is an iconic stage that has been part of the Festival since '71, though it has had many incarnations. Some of the most famous artists in the world have played on this stage, and it is the centre of the Festival every year. 

Other areas and venues include: Bandstand, Cinema Field, Field of Avalon, Glade, Jazz Lounge, Kidz Lounge, Late N Live, Left Field, The Park, Poetry and Words, Salsa at El Rythmo, Shangri-La, and Trash City.   This is quite an extensive and massive festival that should prove to be worth the expense to get there.
