According to recent reports, Janet Jackson has decided to exit the relationship with Island / Def Jam.  She blames IDJ for poor results in album sales and stated that 'they pulled all promotions after the first single was released.'  Co-producer and beau, Jermaine Dupri and Jackson released "Discipline" back in March and debuted at #1 on Billboard however album sales to date are well under 500k. 

Acording to her publicist, the label as agreed to end the relationship at her request.  Jackson is currently on tour with LL Cool J and Donnie Klang until October.  We would not be surprised if she signed a deal with Live Nation as they have been supporting the current tour, "Rock Witchu" and have signed some lucrative deals with similar artists.
