John Mayer is On His Own 12/6/08 Live @ Nokia Theater

AMEX presale: Friday 10/31 at Noon PDT through Thursday 11/6
Public onsale: Friday 11/7 at 10AM PDT

Well, I hope you were one of the lucky ones who were able to secure your tickets yesterday though the fan site.
What is sad to me is not the fact that I wasn't one of them, it was to see those tickets immediately show up on
TicketsNow.  Tickets, normally $70 were listed for $238 and up.  Now what might make this better if those 'sellers'
take the additional $ raised and give it to Toys for Tots and the LA Food Bank.  Somehow, as optimistic as I can be, I don't think this is their motivation.  Well, at least we can thank John for giving not only to us for another great
performance, but to these charities as well.

The remaining question is what should we expect for this show? WTLI v2.0? What does "On His Own" mean exactly?
Are we too expect a 2 1/2 hour acoustic show?  Christmas cover tunes?  Will the usual suspects be absent? Or will we be treated to great accompaniments that we have come to know and love?  It should prove to be a great holiday treat
whatever it turns out to be.  Maybe some new music unveiling?! We will hold on to the worthwhile commodity of hope.
