RECAP: THE VOTE IS IN ON AMERICAN IDOL. WHO GOES HOME? WHO STAYS? VIDEO AND PERFORMANCE REVIEWS.

Alicia Keys talks about benevolent work in Africa and brings Noah from Rwanda who performed "I'm The World's Greatest" a song he learned in English in one week.  He did a great job, have we just seen the new Jay-Z or Kanye? How old is this kid?

Text "ALIVE" to  90999 to donate $5 to support the cause.

Jordin Sparks performs a co-write with Ryan Tedder from One Republic titled "Battlefield".  Good performance, very One Republic-ish, but did not showcase her full vocal abilities.

Katie Perry performs latest single "Waking Up In Vegas" wearing what? Who handed her a cup of the AL Koolaid? A Lambert Cape? REALLY? I hope Adam was embarrassed considering how bad the vocal performance was.  The cutesy retro-vintage Silverlake look maybe cool but what you were wearing ain't it.  That was something out of an old 50's B-movie super-trash-hero trying to be Elvis meets Salvation Army just outside of Barstow.  Oh, I get it maybe that was supposed to be the horror show version, ah ha!

And the final two are KRIS ALLEN! WOOT WOOT! and .... yep you guessed it, THE AI KOOLAID ADAM LAMBERT!

DANNY GOKEY has earned the right to walk tall despite going home tonight.  He will end up like Daughtry or Clay Aiken, selling millions of records despite not being the winner.  So really he wins anyway.  Rock On! Danny, you deserve it.  Much love to Sophia (RIP) and your family.  I will buy your album (an I don't buy these AI albums typically).

So the Allen vs Lambert showdown is set for next week. Don't complain if you didn't vote. Voting gives you the license to talk whatever smack you want in addition to complaining to no end or cheering spitefully.  I hope to be cheering spitefully at all the Koolaid drinkers out there. Until then . . .

Don't any of you believe it! Vieking is serving up his own batch of Koolaid that he wants us all to drink and "believe". He's probably got some side deal w/ Fox to help stir up some intrigue and build support for the underdog. Maybe we can call his drink "hype-aid" or something. Vieking loves Adam Lambert and if anything is a little bit jealous and miffed because Adam didn't ask permission before diving in to Vieking's wardrobe!

So go on and vote. I guess. I never do just cuz I believe there's just way too much $$ at stake for the higher-ups at Fox to just "let America decide". Ya right. But if it makes you feel better go ahead and vote. Oh and, enjoy your koolaid either way...
