PHOTOS, REVIEW, AUDIO: TEARS FOR FEARS AT THE WILTERN

Los Angeles, CA - Tears for Fears is back and on tour and it's as if the clock was rolled back 20 years or so and their
sound is just as amazing as ever.   For the 40-somethings it was a walk through nostalgia - with TFF painting the sonic
picture as only they could to conjure the memories and good times of the not so distant past.  The show was simply
rockin' all the way around.

It was a packed house at the Wiltern which was the first show to kick off a world tour that will take them to Australia,
Singapore, and the Philippines.  We can only hope that there will be extensive North American dates to follow as you
will not want to miss this show if you can help it.

Here are a few photos to illustrate how much fun they had performing and a podcast of most of the show to hear it
for yourself.  The recording starts at song 4 due to some cell phone static on the first few songs.  I was able to get
away from it and found a nice spot near the center of the house (aka control / sound board) which is where the sound
is supposed to be the best.

Here was the setlist:
  1. Mad World (version from Night Of The Proms 2008)
  2. Everybody Wants to Rule The World
  3. Secret World
  4. Closest Thing To Heaven
  5. Sowing The Seeds of Love
  6. Call Me Mellow
  7. Mad World (Original Version)
  8. Memories Fade
  9. Raoul and the Kings of Spain
  10. Quiet Ones
  11. Floating Down The River
  12. Everybody Loves A Happy Ending
  13. Seven of Sundays
  14. Pale Shelter
  15. Break It Down Again
  16. Head Over Heels
  17. Woman in Chains
